RoJo Gas Safety Checks
|
Every year about 30 people die from carbon monoxide poisoning caused by gas appliances and flues which have not been properly installed or maintained. Many others also suffer ill health. When gas does not burn properly, as with other fuels such as coal, wood or oil, excess carbon monoxide is produced which is poisonous. All gas consumers are advised to have appliances checked for safety at least every 12 months by a CORGI-registered installer (Council for Registered Gas Installers). By law, landlords are generally responsible for the safety and maintenance of of gas fittings, appliances and flues and must have a safety check carried out every 12 months and issue the tenant with a safety check record. RoJo regularly carry out gas safety checks for home owners and landlords in the Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire area. If you wish to have your gas appliances checked, call us today |
